WhenIs.it is built on data and software that other people made and share. This page credits them and names the licences they are used under.
Places
City and country data comes from GeoNames, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. WhenIs.it uses a selection of it, adapted for its needs.
Events
Some event listings, and pictures of the performers in them, come from Ticketmaster through its Discovery API. Each of those events links to Ticketmaster for tickets.
Your approximate location
The location estimated from your network address uses GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from maxmind.com.
Maps
Maps are drawn from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Each map also carries its tile provider's credit in its corner.
